Coming soon to this section: information on progress made by health institutions (national, regional, and local) in countries of the Americas and indigenous, Afro-descendant, Roma, and other ethnic populations in the design and implementation of intercultural health systems and models; systems and models that promote the revaluation, recognition, and strengthening of traditional medicine, articulate and harmonize Western/allopathic medicine with traditional medicines, take into account both epidemiological profiles, that of allopathic medicine and that of traditional medicine, as well as the cultural specificities of these populations, and promote the development of adjustments in health services that enable differential care.
