Training of own and institutional health personnel

In this section you will soon be able to find information on the following topics:  Progress and experiences in the countries of the Region of the Americas with regard to awareness-raising, training, and education in intercultural competence for health workers, health professionals, health service administrators (national, regional, local), and policymakers in the countries; Proposals, progress, and development of technical, professional, and/or community training with an intercultural approach for health personnel belonging to indigenous, Afro-descendant, Roma, and other ethnic populations; curricula in higher education in public and private universities, and in those created by these populations, with intercultural content, progress, and development; mechanisms for the recognition of the human talent of traditional medicines, whether trained or community-based.
