CRICS 10 2018 Grupo 4 con Directora OPS Dra Carissa Etienne The Regional Coordination Meeting of the Virtual Health Library (VHL) is a forum aimed at sharing experiences and knowledge among institutions that produce, intermediate and use scientific and technical information in health. The seventh edition of the Regional Coordination Meeting of the VHL (VHL7) was focus on “Strengthening Collaboration Networks” and aims to promote a broad discussion on collaborative working models, and on initiatives aligned with democratization of the access, use, publication and visibility of the scientific knowledge produced by Latin American and Caribbean countries.

The CRICS series began in 1992, extending the representatives meeting of the 37 countries that integrated the Latin American Health Information system, to date the Virtual Health Library Network – VHL. It was born as an innovative Congress in the fields of scientific information and communication, knowledge management, methodologies and information technologies and its applications for the development of research, education and health care systems.
