Academic Collaborative for Integrative Health- ACIH 

The Academic Collaborative for Integrative Health (ACIH) is involved in and supports a wide range of activities and projects in the areas of education, clinical care, research and policy that contribute to transforming our health care system to be one that emphasizes the importance of creating health and well-being. ACIH, formed in 2004, now has a strong national voice. They represent 18 national integrative health and medicine organizations, many universities, colleges and programs and have a wide variety of supporters and volunteers. ACIH strengthens understanding and cooperation among educators, researchers, and clinicians from distinct healthcare disciplines. They believe that quality patient care requires that we shift our disease-based, fractionalized system to one that is team-based, collaborative and patient centered as well as to one that focuses significantly more on creating health and well-being.

AIHM is a global interprofessional membership association of health professions working together to transform health care globally body, mind, spirit, community and planet. AIHM offers an interprofessional Fellowship in integrative health and medicine that trains a widest variety of health professionals including physicians, nurses, naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturist, physical therapists, dentists, mental health professionals and others.

Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges (AANMC)

The Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges (AANMC) was established in 2001 to advance the naturopathic medical profession by actively supporting the academic efforts of accredited and recognized schools of naturopathic medicine.

Council on Naturopathic Medical Education ( CNME)

The Council on Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME) is a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency for doctoral programs in naturopathic medicine (ND programs) in the U.S. and Canada. Graduation from a CNME-accredited ND program qualifies an individual to take the NPLEX licensing exam and to become a licensed naturopathic physician in the U.S. and Canadian states and provinces where naturopathic medicine is regulated.
